I am going to Sudan!

The Lord has done it! In only 3 weeks I was able to raise 100% of my up-front costs and 90% of my monthly costs. He is so good! As of today I am 100% supported in both the up-front and monthly costs. Thank you so much for those of you who heard from the Lord and chose to give! I am not worthy of the great kindness I have received. I pray that your gifts and prayers will enable me to be a minister of the gospel He has given me!
I am planning on leaving for Africa on January 10th. I will be spending my first week in Brackenhurst, a Christian conference center outside of Nairobi near the town of Limuru, Kenya, for the Christian Life Conference. This should be an amazing opportunity to be encouraged by the current missionaries, share ministry ideas, and receive spiritual refreshment. After another week of preparation in Nairobi, Kenya I will be flying to Doro, Sudan. I am still not entirely sure of what awaits me there, but I have a little better idea from a nurse who has been working there since spring ’07. The first picture is of the Village of Nalgon, where one of the new churches meet. The second picture is the compound at Doro taken in July of '07.
Politically things in Sudan are seemingly quite and the SPLM are starting to work with the current government. There haven’t been any resent threats of going back to war.
Prayer Requests:
1) Souls of the people in Sudan and the gospel
2) The new churches in the areas
3) Stability and peace in Sudan
4) Wisdom with Medical decisions and equipment
5) Peace and comfort for my family back in the states
6) The present missionaries in Sudan; their witness, those they come in contact with, and safety
